Cee Lo Green

People are talking about Cee Lo Green. You might know him from a little song called "F*** You," which happened to be 2010's most controversial single. Or, maybe you heard his single "Crazy," that went No 1 just from downloads alone. No matter how you know of Cee Lo Green, there's no denying that he's making an impression on pop culture. 

Born Thomas DeCarlo Calloway, but more commonly known as Cee Lo Green, he is certainly no rookie to this music thing. At the age of 18 he joined Atlanta based hip-hop group, Goodie Mob, which he is still apart of today aside from his solo career.

In 2006 Green teamed up with musician Danger Mouse to form the duo Gnarls Barkley and the chart topping hit, “Crazy”.                     

In 2010 Green returned to his solo career and debuted his third album The Lady Killer which features the hit “F*** You!” (or the radio edit, Forget You) which made it to the number two spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and won him the Grammy for Best Urban/Alternative Performance. Other singles from the album include “It’s OK” and “Bright Lights, Bigger City”.

Cee Lo is currently one of the judges (along with Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton) for the new reality show The Voice which is set to premiere April 26.

For future projects, Green plans on releasing an album titled Happy Hour on the record label of music producer, Jazze Pha. The album will feature songs “Happy Hour”, “Man of the Hour” and “Disco B****” which have already been released to the public. He has also been working in the studio with Pussycat Doll, Melody Thorton, on her solo album.

He’s a singer, songwriter, rapper, record producer, and has even dabbled in a little acting. With numerous rumored projects in the works, it’s hard to keep up. But when it comes to Cee-Lo Green, it’s absolutely impossible to predict what he’ll do next. But we sure can’t wait.
