A letter from Mason…
I am Mason Elam from Madeira High School and I am part of the Entrepreneurship class and our group name is MVP Industries. We have to raise money for a Foundation and we chose the Moebius Syndrome Foundation since one girl in our group has a little sister with this disease. We are hosting a walk to raise money and here are the details:
• Nov. 3rd
• 9am to 10:30 am
• Starts at Madeira Middle School and will loop back around from the Madeira High School (2.2 miles)
• We will be selling Moebius Shirts
• Hot Chocolate and other goods will be available
It would be awesome if you could help us advertise for this event. We really would like the whole Cincinnati area to get involved somehow. The disease is really rare. The disease (Moebius) causes children to be born with facial paralysis so they cannot blink, move their eyes laterally, smile or show facial expression. It also causes autism and clubbed feet. We have two locals within Madeira who have this deformity and we want to raise awareness. I would be so thrilled if you could help us out. Our goal is to have over 500 people attend. We would like to have maybe a few of you guys at the Madeira Middle School before the walk starts, possibly playing music while people register, and as it gets started.
