Charlie Brown is In Trouble
Peter Robbins, who voiced Charlie Brown in Peanuts TV specials and movies, was arrested this Sunday in San Diego for stalking and threatening his ex-girlfriend and her plastic surgeon.
The 56-year-old child voice actor was taken into custody by border security at the San Ysidro Port of Entry.
A spokeswoman for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection said that officers ran Peter’s name through the computer, which turned up a felony warrant for crimes against a person.
According to the San Diego County Jail website, Robbins was booked shortly before 4 a.m. on 12 charges: 10 felony counts of making a threat to cause death or great bodily injury and two felony counts of stalking. He is currently being held on $550,000 bail. If convicted, he could face up to nine years in prison.
