Sofia Vergara is the highest paid actress on television, according to Forbes magazine.
The 41-year-old Modern Family star has nabbed the title for the second year in a row, earning an estimated $30 million between June 2012 and June 2013.
The magazine dubbed Sofia the “reigning queen of celebrity endorsement deals”, citing her work with as Diet Pepsi, Comcast, Covergirl, Rooms To Go, thyroid medicine Synthroid and the actress’ reported $7 million advance for her collection at Kmart.
They also accounted for earnings made from licensing deals and series work, including Sofia’s title as executive producer on US drama Killer Woman in addition to her starring role on Modern Family.
Sofia recently credited her natural sex appeal with finding mainstream success.
“I’m Latin; I do it no matter what. It’s automatic. I shower, do hair and makeup. For me, it’s like shaving. I don’t believe in a natural look,” she told America’s Harper’s Bazaar magazine in July.
Other actresses on the list trailed the Colombian star by a long shot.
Law & Order actress Mariska Hargitay and The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco are tied for second place with $11 million.
Marika’s earnings were drawn solely from the long-running show, while Kaley added to her estimated $300,000 an episode with campaigns for Toyota and Priceline, according to Forbes.
Melissa McCarthy, Tina Fey, Ellen Pompeo and reality television stars The Kardashians and Bethenny Frankel are tied for fourth place with $10 million.
