Spears song livens up MFW
Britney Spears’ new song Work B***h added energy to Prada’s Milan show.
The Italian fashion house showcased bold, arty designs that made the catwalk pop with the color. Britney’s latest single only served to compliment the loud designs.
The audience were at first surprised at the choice of music, but when the models strutted the runway in their new season Prada clothes it all made sense.
Miuccia Prada also collaborated with a backdrop of graffiti artists and muralists who created a louder-than-life set that worked well with the playful clothes.
There was strong use of greens, yellows and reds in the 2014 collection.
Clothes, including skirts, dresses and jackets, were adorned with portraits of women, and the collection had an authentic pop art feel.
Meanwhile Britney has been busy promoting her new Las Vegas residency Piece Of Me, on her twitter page.
Urging fans to buy tickets when they’re released in America tomorrow, Britney seems excited about her upcoming December shows.
“Tomorrow is the day people! #PieceOfMe tickets go on sale @ 10 A ST. U wana good seat? U betta #WORKBxxch… <3 #PieceOfMeTixTomorrow (sic)" she tweeted to her 32 million followers.
Her show in Vegas will run for two years, and will be the only place fans will get to see her perform for that entire time.
The 90-minute shows will take place in a 4,600 capacity planetarium-like theater with a dance floor and private tables.
