Jenners ‘feuding about kids’ education’
Kris and Bruce Jenner have reportedly been arguing about their children’s education.
The Kardashian-Jenner matriarch and former Olympic athlete, who share 17-year-old Kendall and 16-year-old Kylie, have rejected reports for months their relationship is on the rocks.
The latest claims suggest the couple are now disagreeing about how to school their daughters, whose schedules are overloaded.
“[Kendall and Kylie] had been attending a very elite private school until last year,” a family insider told Radar Online. “The girls were constantly missing school because of business commitments including promotional appearances, and photo shoots. Bruce was absolutely adamant that the girls not drop out of school in order to be home schooled.”
The issue recently came up on the family’s reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians. However, the outlet reports the problem runs deeper than it was portrayed for TV audiences.
“This all played out on the reality show, but what viewers didn’t see was the fights between Bruce and Kris,” the source continued. “Bruce always wanted the girls to go to college, whereas Kris doesn’t place an emphasis on education. Kris has told the girls they are only young once and they could always go back to school later. She doesn’t want them to miss out on lucrative deals because they are in school.”
Kendall and Kylie are reportedly hoping to get high school diplomas online from a home schooling agency.
Most recently they bagged $100,000 each for endorsing OPI nail polish.
“[Kendall and Kylie are] extremely bright and did very, very well in their private high school, until their business commitments interfered,” the insider added.
“It was very hard for Bruce to watch his girls struggle in school because of their careers. He feels they are missing out on normal teenage experiences such as going to football games, going to Homecoming dances.
“[Bruce] let Kris win this one, as he does with almost everything in their relationship. There is only so much he can do. It’s his hope that one day soon, the girls will consider going to college because he doesn’t want them to rely on their looks and fame going forward in their lives.”
The family has not publicly commented on the latest claims.
