Charlie Sheen has slammed his ex-wife Brooke Mueller for being an “awful parent”.
The actor has four-year-old twin sons Bob and Max with Brooke, who has been publically struggling with drug addiction.
The children were taken from her and placed in the care of Charlie’s ex-wife Denise Richards earlier this year after she was put under an involuntary psychiatric hold following an overdose. She then went to rehab and has now been released.
Brooke is in the process of trying to regain custody of her sons, but Charlie has now insisted she is not fit to care for them.
“She’s as awful a parent and a person as you can possibly draw up,” he told TMZ today.
Charlie alleged his children have suffered “physical and emotional damage” after being in Brooke’s care and claims the tots are scared of her house because there are lizards and insects at the property.
TMZ reports he fears the twins are in danger when Brooke is caring for them and alleged Bob was left with a face rash after spending him with his mother recently.
“Sheen says Brooke is supposed to get her first unsupervised overnight visit with the twins tonight – and Charlie says he’s very afraid of what could happen,” reports the site.
The 48-year-old star claims he has been in touch with the Los Angeles County of Department of Children and Family Services about his fears but action hasn’t been taken.
This comes after he raged about the organization on Twitter this week, calling its workers “inept” and “doosh bags (sic)”.
