Sharon Osbourne says she is sorry for slamming The View.
The Osbourne matriarch says she feels extremely regretful for telling the women of The View to “go f**k themselves.” Sharon made the comments on the Arsenio Hall show last week, but now she’s taking it back.
“I’m not well … I’m really just a loose cannon,” Sharon said on The Talk on Thursday. “Unfortunately I was inappropriate and I was trying to be funny at somebody else’s expense.”
Sharon made it clear her comments were not directed towards Barbara Walters, who she claims to worship.
“Barbara — idolize her, divine, she is super-human, I love Barbara Walters!” she said, before laying into Barbara’s co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Jenny McCarthy and Sherri Shepherd.
This is not the first time Sharon’s tongue has landed her in hot water.
The former X Factor judge wrote an open letter to Lady Gaga earlier this year, criticizing her for writing a letter to Kelly Osbourne and calling her “nothing more than a publicly seeking hypocrite and an attention seeker.”
“I am calling you a bully because you have 32 million followers hanging on your every word and you are criticizing Kelly in your open letter,” Sharon said on her Facebook page. “Are you so desperate that you needed to make this public? A word from you would stop all the hideous, negative and vile threats from your ‘little monsters.'”
