Stepping up to the plate is one of the region’s largest family friendly cycling events, Ride Cincinnati, which is now expanding its mission and local impact by raising funds to support research for all types of cancer at the Barrett Cancer Center at the University of Cincinnati.
Over the past 10 years, Ride Cincinnati – which takes place this year on June 11– has mobilized thousands of people annually to show their support for friends, co-workers and family affected by breast cancer. Their collective efforts have raised $2.5 million for breast cancer research at The Barrett Center, funding more than 34 research grants in the process.
Ride Cincinnati is Saturday, June 11th at Yeatman’s Cove. The events start at 6:30am. There will be distances for all cycling abilities + second annual 3 mile fun walk + Timed 5k event. Also, new this year: 100 mile, timed 5k , and kid’s cycling event
