Cincinnati Pops: Haunted Hall – Friday through Sunday at Music Hall. Orchestral blockbusters with a seasonal twist, including selections from Dukas’ Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Mussorgsky’s Night on Bald Mountain, and Saint-Saens’ Danse Macabre.

Ohio Sauerkraut Festival – Saturday and Sunday in Downtown Waynesville, 235 Miami St.

FRIDAY:

Crab Carnival – AtWashington Platform Saloon and Restaurant Downtown. Variety of fresh crab dishes in addition to regular menu items.

Thunderstruck – A Tribute to AC/DC – 7:30 p.m. at Miami Valley Gaming.

Kamikaze Fireflies – 7:30-9:30 p.m. at Finneytown High School. As seen on America’s Got Talent.

SATURDAY:

Downtown Tour of Living – noon-5 p.m. in Downtown and Over-the-Rhine. After an absence of 10 years, tour returns to showcase downtown living at more than a dozen apartment and condo buildings.

Short Vine Flea For All – 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Short Vine, Between Corry St. and MLK Blvd. in Corryville. One-of-a-kind outdoor market event features local artists, vintage & handmade items, fresh market, organic goods and fashion.

StoryFest Cincy 2018 – 1 p.m. at Starfire in Madisonville. Hear stories through art, music, food, drinks and more.

Miami (Ohio) Redhawks vs. Kent State Golden Flashes – 2:30 p.m. at Fred Yager Stadium.

 Made in Camp – noon-5 p.m. at Wave Pool: A Contemporary Art Fulfillment Center. Opening reception. More than 40 artists, galleries and makers collaborate on this neighborhood-wide open house.

The Big Whisker Revival 5 – a Charity Beard and Mustache Competition – 5 p.m. at The Southgate House Revival.

CAT Fest – 5:30-10 p.m. on the Purple People Bridge. Music by Empty Garden, local food trucks, raffle baskets, a kids’ area and more. Benefits Center for Addiction Treatment (CAT) to help pay for drug and alcohol addiction treatment for those who otherwise couldn’t afford it.

Time Warp – 6-10 p.m. at Pique Gallery. Exhibition explores the artistic connection between past and present. Continues through Dec. 14.

Music. Here. Now. – 6:30-10:30 p.m. at MadTree Brewing in Oakley. VIP tickets include a private tour of MadTree Brewing, a souvenir glass and special recognition. Benefits Melodic Connections.

Cincinnati Cyclones v Komets: First Face-Off – 7:30 p.m. at US Bank Arena.

Dennis Quaid and the Sharks – 8 p.m. at Rising Star Casino.

Not-So-Spooky Night Hike – 6 p.m. at Sharon Woods. Evening stroll along Gorge Trail and look for animals that call Sharon Woods home. Dress for the weather!

SUNDAY: 

Bud Light Tailgate Zone – 10 a.m. at The Banks. Live music, food, drinks, Bud Light Tailgate Bar and more.

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Pittsburgh Steelers – 1 p.m. at Paul Brown Stadium.

Tour de Cure – 7:15 a.m. at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden. 5K run, 1 mile walk, 25 or 50 mile bike ride throughout Cincinnati and in the Zoo. All profits from this event go to research diabetes.
