Lady Gaga had this to say on Twitter last night after viewing her pre-taped performance: "FOX POORLY + AMATEURLY edited+cut my performance/musical arrangement on idol. Watch real version" She sent the full version to Perez Hilton and here it is.

According to Contactmusic.com, BRET MICHAELS is contemplating marriage to his longtime girlfriend after surviving a near-fatal brain haemorrhage last month (Apr10).
The Poison frontman, 47, spent days in the intensive care unit at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona after suffering bleeding on the brain, just days after enduring complications following an appendectomy.
He was diagnosed with the life-threatening side-effect of a condition called hyponatremia - a lack of sodium in the body that can lead to seizures.
Michaels is now making good progress in his recovery and has since been discharged from hospital. He admits his recent health scares have prompted him to rethink his priorities in life - and family is first and foremost.
He tells People magazine, "As painful as this experience has been, I was given a second chance, right? I don't want to sit around every night worrying this is going to happen again. What I want to do is make a positive bucket list and say, 'I'm just gonna go for it.'
"There's just so much more I want to do and experience. (Getting married), for sure, is something I have never done. Kristi's such a great person. We'll see if that happens. But yes, that may be one of the big things on the list.
"My first goal is to get back (to) 100 per cent. I want to continue to rock the world, and I want to continue to love my family and be a good father."
Michaels initially dated Kristi Gibson from 1994 to 2005, but they reunited after he failed to find lasting love on VH1 reality TV show Rock of Love with Bret Michaels.
The couple shares two children together, daughters Raine, nine, and Jorja, five.
You may have heard about the latest drug recall involving children's medications. We had one of them in our medicine cabinet. It's worth taking a look to see if you have them.
The recall stems from quality assurance issues, not from a child being hurt. Here's the quote from McNeil Products "McNeil Consumer Healthcare is initiating this voluntary recall because some of these products may not meet required quality standards. This recall is not being undertaken on the basis of adverse medical events. However, as a precautionary measure, parents and caregivers should not administer these products to their children."

I ran (jogged /walked briskly) my first half marathon today and it was somewhat of a life changing experience. I love life and sometimes can be a little bit of a bit of an adrenaline junkie. I have jumped out of airplanes, swam with sharks, been in some pretty intense whitewater rafting and more however today was a different kind of thrill.
* Woke up at the Team in Training hotel downtown at 430am to thunder and lightning and a very hard rain.
* I am not a runner, I did the Heart Mini Marathon 10k recently but that is the longest race I had ever been in.
* Runners are really friendly and helpful people. I saw many times during the race people helping people.
* It was pouring rain when we started at 6:30am. Joe a friend from the radio station was in my head saying "hey its just water" Honestly the water didnt really affect me so much, as a matter of fact their were times when I took my hat off and just looked up at the sky with a huge smile and let the rain fall on my face :-)
* The people cheering along the course really do help the runners so much with their encouragement. There were a number of times when I was really struggling and a smile or encouraging words got my head right back into the race and I picked my pace up.
* There are parts of our city that you have to see on foot to truly appreciate like the Eden Park overlook or some of the homes in Walnut Hills.
* Coming back into Ohio and down toward Linn street the Butternut bakery smelled like HEAVEN!!!
* As I was running across the bridge back into Ohio from Covington a nice guy recognized me from Q102 or Fox19 and said some nice things and then said "Hey don't worry I wont tell anybody you are walking." lol I told him that I would be walking plenty and thanks for listening and watching :-)
* I learned to really like Gatorade and and water together.
* I only had to make one pit stop in a bathroom during the 13.1 miles.
* I can't stress enough what a great work that Team in Training and the Leukemia and Lymphoma society do.
I have a million other thoughts running through my mind right now but I wont bore you with them all right now.
Like I mentioned earlier I am not a runner but I did find out today the human body is capable of so much more than our minds can sometimes conceive. Step out of your comfort zone and try something you have only dreamed of before now.

So I am sitting in the Team in Training hotel downtown and it's 10:41p and I need to get up at 430am to be in the lobby for a Team in Training group photo before starting the Flying Pig Half Marathon (13.1 miles) at 630a.
I am feeling many things right now...anxious...a lil nervous...excited and a million other emotions. I am also THANKFUL for Team in Training and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. There are over 400 TNT runners here in the hotel tonight who have raised thousands of dollars to combat blood cancers.
We all have so much to be thankful for everyday and sometimes I think we are guilty of just taking some things for granted in our day to day to lives.
Well I am going to try and go to sleep so I can run (jog/walk lol) my half marathon in a few hours. Thanks for all the well wishes.

I am running my first half marathon this Sunday morning at the Flying Pig with Team in Training. A really good friend of mine who works here at the radio station is a competitive bike racer and just sent me the nicest email with a lot a great tips for Sunday morning. Here is Joe's email:
Thinkin’ about you and the rain. Here’s a few tips from bike racing in the rain.
You’re gonna get wet. Revel in it. Don’t let it make you miserable. Everyone around you is suffering the same. Have a positive attitude. Think of it like this, you came to do the run and you’re gonna do the run. Rain? Whatever. Just water. If it comes down harder, make your smile bigger.
Drink and eat just the same. Your body may expend even more energy in the rain…even mental energy. You may feel cool, but your workin’ just as hard as if it were sunny.
Stay warm as long as possible. Wear a rain jacket, maybe a long sleeve, sweats and hat to the start. Bring a friend to the start. Just before the gun, take off the warm clothes and rain jacket and hand it to your helper. Tell ‘em to bring it to the finish. Run with a crappy hat. If it makes you too hot a few miles in…toss it. Just a hat.
I’ve found it better not to race wearing a rain jacket. It turns into a big ‘ol hot plastic bag down the road and could cause you to overheat. I’d say if it’s relatively warm in the morning, say 55+, I’d skip running with a rain jacket. If it’s 50 or below, then maybe wear it, because you’ll likely won’t overheat and benefit from staying a bit more dry for a while.
Baby oil the legs, arms and back of the neck. Now this is funny, the KY brand warming oil works great if it’s cold. It’ll keep your legs and arms warm in the wet weather. It warms your skin and acts as a barrier….like car wax in a way. Rain wont stick to your skin. Keeps the cold out and the warm in. Wouldn’t recommend it in warmer weather, but if it’s under 70 and raining, it’d work great.
Good Luck at the Pig!
Joe
