Palin to appear on 'Oprah'

Former Alaska governor's book due next month

About a year after Sarah Palin rejected a campaign-season invitation from talk show host and Barack Obama supporter Oprah Winfrey, the former Republican vice presidential candidate has agreed to appear on her show.

Palin will be a guest on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" Nov. 16.

Palin's first book, the 400-page "Going Rogue: An American Life," is scheduled to be released Nov. 17. It will be available as an e-book Dec. 26.

Months ago, Winfrey quipped, "Maybe she'll talk to me now that she has a book deal."
