STAFF REPORT
On her book tour for "Going Rogue," Sarah Palin will be stopping in "unconventional places," including Cincinnati.
Palin will be at Joseph-Beth Booksellers in Norwood on Fri., Nov. 20, at noon, the store announced Wednesday afternoon. The time is subject to change.
Book pre-orders are on sale now and will include a line ticket. The books will be available Nov. 17 and after. Palin will autograph her book but she will not personalize. There will be no posed photographs and no memorabilia signed.
A limited number of preferential line tickets have been reserved for Gives Back Members; call 513-396-8960 for more details.
Palin will make stops in cities such as Noblesville, Ind., Washington, Pa., and Rochester, N.Y. instead of Seattle, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Los Angeles and other major cities.
"She wants to be unconventional. She is unconventional," HarperCollins spokeswoman Tina Andreadis said Wednesday. "She feels like this is where her fans are and Harper feels this is where she’ll sell the most books."
Palin's Cincinnati visit will come four days after her television interview with Oprah Winfrey and three days after the Nov. 17 release of "Going Rogue."
The tour starts Nov. 18 at a Barnes & Noble in Grand Rapids, Mich. The tour will last about three weeks, with a break for Thanksgiving, and will end around Dec. 10.
"Going Rogue" has an announced first printing of 1.5 million copies and has been at or near the top of Amazon.com’s best-seller list for weeks.
