Local Marine killed at Camp Lejeune

A Marine originally from Hamilton was killed at Camp Lejeune, and another Marine is being investigated for his death, according to a Marine Corps spokesman.
The body of 22-year-old Corporal Joshua E. Hartzell was found early Friday in a wooded area at the North Carolina Marine base.
Twenty-one-year-old Private Jonathan Law is in military custody at Camp Lejeune.
Military officials have released few details about the incident, only saying Hartzell was not shot.
An investigation is ongoing.
Law, of Nevada, was taken to a local hospital Friday for treatment of apparent self-inflicted wounds, according to WITN-TV in Greenville, N.C.
Both men joined the Marine Corps in 2006 and served in the 2nd Marine Logistics Group.
Hartzell was an electro-optical ordnance repairer with 2nd Maintenance Battalion.
