Study: Cincinnati among most dangerous cities
Metro area is closer to middle of pack nationwide, according to CQ Press

Cincinnati is the 19th most dangerous city in the U.S. according to a new study by CQ Press that also suggests the city's surrounding areas are much safer.
CQ Press' "City Crime Rankings 2009-2010: Crime in Metropolitan America" study ranked 393 cities nationwide.
The top-ranked city was Camden, New Jersey. No. 2 was St. Louis. Cleveland ranked 8th, Dayton ranked one spot behind Cincinnati at 20th and Indianapolis ranked 28th.
The study also ranked metro areas, where Greater Cincinnati ranked a much lower 152nd of 349.
Since 1999, the crime rates of the cities and metropolitan areas were calculated using six crime categories: murder, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, and motor vehicle theft.
