I received this fun email from a friend at the Kenton Count Library. Help them out and watcht this awesome video.
Fritsch
So the Kentucky Department of Libraries Association put out a contest challenging public libraries in the state to make an original music video in their Library and make it go viral. One of our Children’s Librarians and a Teen Programmer wrote the song and music and performed it. Staff and volunteers participated in the video. Another staff member filmed and produced it. It was so much fun to create. We have had over 1,100 hits since we went live with it about a week ago. We would love some help with hitting 2,000 before the conference on Sept. 20. It is funny. And I’m sure people will enjoy seeing their Library staff dressed up and being goofy. It would be awesome if you could post it on your Facebook page or do anything else to help us get more hits. Thanks. http://youtu.be/jya81xjfrQU

Help a Cincinnati native produce a reality show pilot
Cincinnati-area native Logan Cummins has set out to reclaim the title of Man of the House from his wife, developing a reality show concept along the way.

The show, titled “Mansformation” will document his mastery of a list of stereotypical man-skills that he currently has zero ability to perform. He’ll work with Mansformation Coaches to teach him the trades and complete challenges associated with each of the skills. To date, he’s worked with a boxer, a barber, a stand-up comedian, a chef, a cast member of MTV’s The Real World Philadelphia and Levi Johnston–the father of Sarah Palin’s grandson.

The pilot episode will be comprised of the best of 20-plus hours of footage shot on a recent trip to Alaska. During the trip, Cummins spent time with Celebrity Mansformation Coach Levi Johnston learning all about roughing it Alaska style on a 4-day camping and bear hunting trip. Logan is currently working to secure funding for costs associated with post-production work to develop a pilot episode via Kickstarter, an online funding platform for creative projects.

Logan is a 1998 graduate of South Dearborn High School in Aurora, Indiana, and a 2003 graduate of the College of Mount St. Joseph in Delhi Township.

Check out the Mansformation website at www.mymansformation.com, or donate online by August at http://kck.st/Qub6dp

Hi Fritsch,

The link explains the story, I have a friend who started a company that is a network for social good. It lets sick children and their families talk to one another, but now it is growing to include most any non-profit (animal rescues, environmental causes, etc.). It lets them communicate and find comfort and possibly help. The non-profit side of the company transports sick children by private plane to hospitals to receive treatment when their families cannot afford it. I entered the Gold Peak take a year off work contest that that I can help him with Marketing and donations and try to generate more interest. I honestly didn’t think I’d make the top 5, but here I am. This is a wonderful cause, and one that I think could grow into something substantial. Everyone can vote once a day on the gold peak fb webpage:

https://www.facebook.com/GoldPeakTea/app_337163763014627

Thank You so much for all your help, I just want to try and do something good, and if anything else, help out in some small way.
