Cincinnati native Brian Douglas has been on air with Q for 25 years, living out the dream he’s had for as long as he can remember – to live in his hometown and “work at one of the greatest radio stations in America!” When he’s in the studio, his MacBook Pro, iPad and iPhone are never far away, and neither is his amazing partner Laura Powell!

Brian’s three kids are the loves of his life, although his involvement with charities and organizations like the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, WAVE Foundation and many others is close behind. Laura agrees – “The Light The Night Walk for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society makes me cry every year,” she says. She and Brian both cite The Q102 Bosom Ball for Breast Cancer as one of their favorite station events and a great display of unity.

When she’s not in the studio, you’ll find Laura spending time at her local Kroger, T.J. Maxx and Kohl’s, and of course enjoying her beautiful family. Brian is an avid photographer, a certified scuba diver and loves heading down to The Banks for all the excitement happening at The Holy Grail, Crave, Moerlein Lager House and more!

Coach Jarrod Skalde and his Cincinnati Cyclones start a first-round playoff series in Toledo tonight. Despite starting on the road, the Cyclones have home-ice advantage. We had so much fun yesterday hanging out downtown during the day and then doing our show from one of our favorite places, Holy Grail Banks.
We then went next door at US Bank Arena and shot photos at the Pete Rose event.

The 19-week series will feature a wide variety of world-class entertainers, ranging from upbeat pop to outlaw country. The Shoe is a one-acre plaza located at the front entrance of the new casino, which opened March 4, 2013.

The Killers will open the venue on May 16 and Earth, Wind & Fire will conclude the 19-week concert series on September 22. Several additional acts are expected to perform at The Shoe this spring and summer and will be announced as dates are confirmed.

We couldn’t be prouder of Walk the Moon. The band is doing a tour of Europe opening for P!nk and today posted that are going to be on the Iron Man 3 soundtrack! The guys posted the following on FB earlier this afternoon:

“Hey everybody- we are proud to announce that WALK THE MOON will be featured on the soundtrack for the upcoming IRON MAN 3 film!! We wrote a brand new song entitled “Big Bad Wolves” specifically for the movie. The soundtrack includes tracks by artists such as Imagine Dragons, Passion Pit, and AWOLNATION as well as yours truly.”
