Hathaway to announce Oscar nominations

Actress Anne Hathaway will unveil this year's list of Oscar contenders on Feb. 2, alongside Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President Tom Sherak, the Academy announced Tuesday.
AMPAS traditionally picks Oscar winners or nominees to announce the nominations.
Forest Whitaker, who won lead actor three years ago for "The Last King of Scotland," announced last year's candidates.
Hathaway was Oscar-nominated last year for "Rachel Getting Married."
The 82nd Academy Awards, hosted by Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin, airs Sunday, March 7 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
