STAFF REPORT
A man accused of stalking Dr. Drew Pinsky was arrested at Pierce College in Woodland Hills, Calif., Wednesday evening on a felony charge.
Charles Pearson allegedly sent threatening messages over several months to the "Celebrity Rehab" star and his family over the Internet and appeared at a radio station affiliated with the doctor.
Pinsky also received notification that Pearson was suing him in small claims court.
Pinsky filed a police report regarding the 33-year-old Pearson on Monday.
A spokesman for the college said Pearson was not a student, but that the Pasadena police alerted campus security that there was a possible suspect making criminal threats on a computer in the library.
Pierce officials detained the suspect before police arrived and arrested him.
Pearson is being held at the Pasadena Jail on a $150,000 bond.
