Dane, Gayheart welcome girl

"Grey's Anatomy" star Eric Dane and wife Rebecca Gayheart welcomed their first child in Los Angeles Wednesday, a daughter whose name has yet to be announced.
"Mother, father and daughter are doing great," a representative for the couple said in a statement.
During an appearance last month on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," the 37-year-old Dane said he and Gayheart would wait until they met their baby girl before giving her a name, which Dane promised wouldn't be "weird."
"We went straight down the middle on this one," he said.
"I'm really excited," Dane told Ellen at the time. "I'm going to stay close to my wife and make sure that she is all right."
Dane reportedly wore scrubs while the 38-year-old Gayheart gave birth at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Dane and Gayheart, who wed in Las Vegas in 2004, revealed they were having a baby girl in December.
