Amtrak Introduces Special Harry Potter-Themed Trains

Amtrak is bringing the magic of Harry Potter to some of their trains this summer. According to USA Today, The company is partnering with the “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” Broadway show, which is now playing at the Lyric Theatre in New York City, for the limited-time event.

Now through June 25th, four specially wrapped Amtrak trains will be operating on the Northeast Regional service route between Washington, D.C. and Boston. The locomotives will feature the Broadway show’s iconic logo, along with beloved characters including Harry PotterRon WeasleyHermione GrangerDraco Malfoy, and the next generation wizards including Rose Granger-Weasley and Albus Potter. There will also be a swirling clock displayed on train cars to “give you visions of time travel.”

“While this train won’t be stopping at Platform 9 ¾, you’ll be sure to have a magical journey,” Amtrak shares.
