I think we will look back on Sunday and it say, “what if” and missed opportunities. With less than 3 minutes to go the Bengals found themselves in a game the offense had no business being in.

Defensively the unit has been strong since camp and they are showing up in back to back weeks. Bengals weren’t afraid to spend money on the unit over the last two years and they showed up. Offensively it’s a head scratcher. They have all the pieces and a QB in Joe Burrow and they couldn’t get anything going. Do I think they will bounce back? Yes. Do they have to find ways to get downfield with a WR who can create separation yes. That’s why you drafted Ja’Marr Chase. Also, the offensive line – while I am and was on drafting Ja’Marr Chase (he’s a game changer) but the Bengals can’t let Joe Burrow get hit like that all season. Also Jackson Carman has a shot at starting on Sunday the rookie has yet to start in a game and the guard position is still the biggest weakness on the line. It would be a test vs. the Steelers front, but they need to sooner than later. That was a game we might look back on, but now it’s time to move on to Pittsburgh with a short memory. My preview will be coming on Friday morning.
