The Cincinnati Reds have announced their Friday, June 30, game against the San Diego Padres will now start at 5:10pm, and you can expect gates and parking to start just after 3pm.
Originally, the game was set for a 7:10pm first pitch, which would have caused a massive traffic and parking problem downtown. More than a hundred thousand people would have been convening in downtown at the exact same time, which was a nightmare scenario for local officials. This new plan should alleviate some concerns, but you should still expect massive traffic delays and unavailable parking. Your best option will be to find a shuttle service as we have previously reported.Β
