Today on the show we were joined by Bud Stross, the owner of The Dent Schoolhouse!
Every year, Bud and his “Monsters” work hard to bring you lots of scares but they also work hard to help out some local nonprofits. By paying to park across the street in their VIP lot, you are automatically donating to a charity called Don’t Be a Monster, an organization that offers Halloween-themed bullying prevention presentations to schools all across the country during the Fall season to bring light to an important message, in a fun and accessible way. By donating to Don’t Be a Monster, you are helping bring this nonprofit to Cincinnati! They hope to have an official home here in Cincy by next year.
Around the corner from Dent, there is another lot you can park in! Proceeds from that lot go directly to the Aubrey Rose Foundation, a nonprofit that helps families caring for children with life-
During off-season, Bud and his crew continue to help the community in other ways. They volunteer for Honor Flights to cheer on Veterans, and raise money for local shelters so they can buy turkeys for Thanksgiving!
Coming up December 7th and 8th, for the first time ever, Dent will host “A Christmas Nightmare”! This is your chance to see The Dent Schoolhouse at Christmas time 🙂
Scary Santas, zombie snowmen and lots more! Bud also plans to have some charities tied in with this event as well.
The Dent Schoolhouse will remain open through November 3rd – If you’d like to get some post-Halloween screams in!
