We know there are a lot of local 5Ks to choose from that benefit great causes. So why should you register for the 12th Annual Cincinnati Aruna Run?
- Direct impact. 100% of registration fees and additional donations go towards the Aruna Project’s mission of freeing, employing, and empowering survivors of human trafficking. Our fundraising goal this year is $100,000. Thanks to generous matching donors, we’ve received $50,000 in matching donations. So every dollar you raise up to $50,000 will be matched so we can reach our goal. Race expenses are covered by the generosity of local business sponsors.
- Run for Her. You run or walk for an enslaved woman by name – a woman we personally know and are actively working to free. Her name will be on your race bib so you will literally run to help bring her freedom. You will then receive e-mail updates on her freedom journey throughout the year.
- Race swag crafted in freedom. Race swag items are hand-made by our Artisans, freed thanks to funds raised in previous Aruna Runs.
- Artisan story playlist. Listen to our new Artisan story run/walk playlist on Spotify and Apple Music to help empower you to run strong for her.
