Give Back Tuesday: Ronald McDonald House 5/14

Today on Give Back Tuesday we were joined by Sarah Curry-Rathel from the Ronald McDonald House of Cincinnati!

The Ronald McDonald House is a home for critically-ill children and their families. Most families that stay at “The House” travel from around the world in need of expert medical care in Cincinnati. They arrive exhausted, afraid and stressed.

The Ronald McDonald House welcomes them with home-cooked meals, a comfortable bed to rest in and a support system of staff, volunteers and other families who know what they are going through. ❤

Since 1982, RMHC has welcomed more than 35,000 families into their House. Whether they stay for just a few nights or many months, they keep them steps away from the hospital. But for all of the families they have served, there are thousands of others they have had to turn away due to capacity issues. Which is very, very difficult for the workers and volunteers at the House.

They need your help, as their House launches the most ambitious RMHC fundraising campaign in history.

Their goal: more than doubling their capacity to ensure that families never have to wait for the support they need. How? By giving them More Rooms, More Love.

RMHC is expanding!! They are adding an additional 100 rooms to their facility.

Isn’t that exciting?! I just got chills… again. 😊

This expansion is going to change lives.. And you can help! RMHC will need lots of volunteers and, of course, donations. Whether you donate one dollar or five, every little bit helps.

So, let’s rally, Cincinnati!! These families need our help.

Thank you, Sarah, for coming on Give Back Tuesday and sharing your passion for helping others.
