Today on the show we were joined by Kent, Angeline and Michelle from the Karen Wellington Foundation!

At KWF, their mission is very simple. They put FUN on the calendars of women and families LIVING with breast cancer by sending them on special vacations, relaxing spa days, dinners out, concerts and other FUN-ONLY activities​.

Their goal is to get each of the 100+ women on their ever-growing waiting list to a beach, a spa, a concert … somewhere FUN as quickly as possible. 🙂

For women actively battling breast cancer, there is no time like the present! This goal will be made possible by generous people who donate a week of their vacation homes or timeshares, their airline miles, sporting event and concert tickets, or cash in order to help them connect a person in need with the chance to get away and have some fun.

Karen is dearly missed by her family and friends. Her daughter, Angeline, loved watching her mom sing and perform when she was little. She’s followed in her footsteps, in a way, and has pursued a career in music. Listen to her song “Nostalgia” below.
