“Montani Semper Liberi!” Ashley Sturm hails from the Mountain State, West Virginia.
In 2013, she graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in broadcast journalism and minors in political science and history. That summer she returned to her hometown of Parkersburg, WV, and joined the WTAP news team. During her three-year tenure, she worked as a producer and reporter before taking over the anchor desk at 6 & 11 p.m.
In 2016, Ashley moved to Wilmington, North Carolina, as a morning news anchor. While at WWAY she also developed her own series, “Ashley’s Adventures,” in which she explored all things southeastern North Carolina.
A year later, and newly engaged, she moved to Cincinnati to be closer to family and joined the Q102 family.
In her free time, Ashley enjoys exploring her new home, petting any dogs she can get her hands on, eating spicy foods and taking naps.
