Today on the show we were joined by John Clancy from Northern Kentucky Children’s Advocacy Center!
The Northern Kentucky Children’s Advocacy Center is a non-profit organization that provides services to children that have been sexually abused, severely physically abused and children who have witnessed violent crimes. In addition, the NKYCAC provides supportive services for non-offending parents, caregivers, siblings, family members and professionals throughout the Northern Kentucky Area Development District counties of Boone, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Owen, and Pendleton.
There are many ways to give back to the NKYCAC. You can make monetary donations, or donate food, drinks, toys, games and/or movies to the center for children during their visit.
Below is a picture of four Beckfield Nursing students, Rachel Roderick, Phillip Fangman, Samantha Eldridge, and Wes Cannonier who sold tickets to a Florence Freedom game as a fundraiser for NKYCAC, they also held a raffle!
With the help of Florence Freedom Professional Baseball, they were able to purchase and donate the items seen in this picture, as well as some that couldn’t fit in the photo! WELL DONE!!
Coming up in a few weeks, NKYCAC will be hosting their annual event, The Advocates Annual Grand Gala!
If you would like to attend the event on September 14th, purchase your ticket HERE!
Thank you, John, for hosting Give Back Tuesday today and making an incredible difference in our community. ❤
