Reel Abilities Film Festival

There’s something really cool coming to town and I’m very excited to be a part of it.  It’s the Cincinnati Reel Abilities Film Festival March 9-16, the largest national film festival dedicated to sharing the lives, stories and art of people with disabilities.

Each night, there’s a different movie featuring different disabilies including Autism, Downs Syndrome, War Veterans and more.  And each night benefits a different local charity.  I’ll be hitting several of them…two are films about Autsim.  Monday night’s movie is “Ocean Heaven” at Kenwood Theater and it benefits the Autism Society of Greater Cincinnati.  The trailer is at the link below…check it out!

What I really love about this festival is that is reflects my own belief that each and every one of us is different.  And the sooner we all can learn to accept other’s differences as well as our own, the happier we all will be.  And isn’t that really what all of us want anyway…to be accepted for who we are?

This festival has so much heart.  I hope to see you there!
